RB Farquhar is a company which has decades of experience in pioneering ground-breaking modular construction techniques.
RB Farquhar first pioneered the pod concept in 1984. Since then, RB Farquhar has designed and manufactured prefabricated bathroom pods for the hotel, residential, student accommodation and military markets.
A new bathroom pod comes off RB Farquhar’s assembly lines every 15 minutes in its custom-built production plant in Chomutov, near Prague, in the Czech Republic. The factory opened in 2003, with the capacity to produce over 10,000 pods a year.
RB Farquhar’s technical design team is recognised as the most experienced in the industry, and the company produces high quality prefabricated bathrooms for many different sectors of the construction market.
Prefabricated bathroom pods allow for faster construction programmes and, by significantly reducing the requirement for skilled labour on-site, produce valuable cost savings over traditional construction methods.
